INDIA, akan segera menjadi kekuatan Superpower di masa datang bersama China. India juga telah nyaris menguasai salahsatu industri terpenting di dunia, industri Information Technology.

India, adalah salahsatu bangsa terbesar dunia berpenduduk lebih dari 1 Milyar. Tidak hanya sangat besar, seperti juga China, India juga sangat berambisi menjadi bangsa terunggul dalam bidang Sains dan Teknologi. Sekarang India, karena kamajuan industri Computer Software-nya yang sangat cepat, mereka diperkirakan akan segera mengungguli Amerika. "Indomitable Spirit", adalah karya Abdul Kalam, Mantan Presiden India 2002-2007. Ini adalah buku yang akan menjadi pedoman besar dalam menciptakan bangsa India yang sangat unggul. Abdul Kalam sendiri adalah ahli dalam bidang teknologi roket, dan bermimpi India akan menjadi salahsatu bangsa yang pertamakali mengirim manusia ke Planet Mars.   • Abdul Kalam dianggap salahsatu presiden terbesar India dan sangat dekat dengan rakyat, The People's President.

  • Dia adalah seorang profesor, saintis, dan insinyur. Dia juga adalah seorang presiden India yang paling visioner.

  • Abdul Kalam adalah seorang presiden India yang beragama Islam.

  • 30 september 2001, helikopter yang ditumpanginya mengalami kecelakaan, walaupun ia cedera serius, ia berhasil selamat. Ketika berada dalam keadaan koma, ia bermimpi berada di sebuah padang pasir yang sangat luas dan ia bertemu 5 tokoh besar dunia, Mahatma Gandhi, Albert Einstein, Kaisar Asoka (Kaisar terbesar India di masa lalu), Abraham Lincoln, dan Khalifah Umar.
  • Buku-bukunya terutama "Guiding Souls" dan "Wings of Fire" sangat populer di kalangan remaja di Korea Selatan.
  • Tanggal 20 November lalu dia berkunjung ke Jakarta dan berkunjung ke Gandhi Memorial International School di Jakarta. Disana ia bertanya kepada murid-muridnya, "Siapa yang ingin pergi ke Mars?" (Dikutip dari Harian Kompas).

  • Ini beberapa pointer pernyataannya : "Anak-anak muda perlu memiliki 3 hal, pengetahuan, kebajikan, dan semangat", "Hanya dengan memanfaatkan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, persoalan negara bisa terpecahkan", "Pendidikan, adalah jalan terbaik untuk mengatasi kemiskinan, dan membawa negara kita menjadi negara maju."
